This is another long challenge: 644 kilometres (400 miles). Discover the legendary Silk Road, where you can explore ancient trade routes, bustling marketplaces, and breathtaking desert landscapes that once connected the East and West.
Here is also where I mark some real progress:
- For the last four months, I have consistently done 40 minutes of cardio twice a day (treadmill in the morning, elliptical after dinner… at least until the weather improves, and then I am moving outside) seven days a week. I’ve missed one workout for three days in that whole time;
- I might not love exercising, but I miss it if I don’t do it, so I am counting that as progress;
- In one year, I have lost half the weight I hoped to lose in total; and
- In theory, my body should stop fighting this process sometime soon. Maybe. Ish.
